La Simulación de Montecarlo en el Estudio de Rentabilidad de Cultivos de Yerba Mate

Abstract

This survey focuses to comprehend the yerba mate culture activity through the sights of the technological alternatives available and the industry economy, analized in a uncertainty surrounding.

The research was focused in the profitability probabilistic analysis making the yerba mate culture financial flows at high, medium and low density in the Itapua Department, Paraguay. Then, the Rate of Intern Return of such flows was assessed using a Montecarlo simulation model. The goal set were the culture profit measure with this test, according the technology applied and analizing the output sensitivity to change the main variables.

The collection of data of the farmers was performed through interview to the farmers and production consulting technician. The output show that in medium density lands it achieves the output greater  stability at the business uncertainty.
