Abstract
The objective of this work was to diagnose the handling of pesticides in Campo Grande and Colonia Aurora (Misiones) to suggest recommendations. Each one of the stages of tobacco elaboration were analyzed to know the handling of toxic chemical products. To obtain the data, we went to the field, carried out surveys, interviews and observations with 30 tobacco producers. Numerical values were assigned to the information collected to graph them and obtain quantitative statistics. The results indicated that a large part of the producers do not take into account the security measures when handling agrochemicals. Recommendations for improvements and proposals for measures to be implemented were made.
