Journal of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Engineering Faculty of the National University of Misiones + INGENIO maintains its commitment to open access policies to scientific information, considering that both scientific publications and publicly funded research should circulate on the Internet in a free, free and without restrictions.
Journal of Science, Technology and Innovation of the Faculty of Engineering of the National University of Misiones + INGENIO ratifies the Open Access model in which the contents of scientific publications are available in full text and free on the Internet, and whose costs of Editorial production are not transferred to the authors. This policy proposes to break the economic barriers that generate inequities both in access to information and in the publication of research results.
The complete articles must have between 10 (ten) and 15 (fifteen) pages. The Editorial Committee may accept longer works in special cases. In all cases Times New Roman font size 12 points should be used, and format A4 sheets, numbered in the lower right margin, with line spacing of 1.5, without automatic separation of syllables at the end of line, justified and with the four margins 2.5 cm With the text in a paragraph.
Tables and figures should be inserted in the text of the article and should be located as close as possible to the site in which they are mentioned. According to their size, they can be presented separately, correctly identified. The scanned figures should be in TIFF and EPS format, with 300 dpi resolution. The Editorial Committee may request the authors, once the work is accepted, to deliver the images and graphics of the article, with the format, size, dimensions, resolution, etc. necessary for editing.
The scientific and technical articles written in Spanish and English will be organized following the general outline in successive order: title in Spanish, names of the authors, names and addresses of the institution they belong to, summary and keywords in Spanish, title in English, summary and keywords in English. The scientific-technical articles written in Portuguese will be organized following the general scheme in successive order: title in Spanish, names of the authors, names and addresses of the institution to which they belong, summary and key words in Spanish, title in English , summary and keywords in English, title in Portuguese, summary and keywords in Portuguese. Subsequently, in the corresponding language, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, (together or separately), conclusions, list of abbreviations (if applicable), acknowledgments, references and appendices or annexes (if applicable).
Title in Spanish: must be short (no longer than 15 words), concise and reflect specific aspects of the work. It must correspond to the title in English and / or Portuguese.
Authors: the authors will be placed separated by semicolons, placing first or last names followed by a comma, and then the first name and initial of the second with a period.
Address: below the authors, indicate the institution to which they belong or where the work was carried out. If the authors belong to different institutions, after each name a number will be placed in parentheses, establishing the reference to the institutions and their respective addresses. It is suggested to include the names of the sections and essential dependencies. Point, in parentheses, to personal electronic addresses.
Summary in Spanish: it should be a condensation of all the parts of the work in a maximum of 150 words, synthesizing the objectives, the methods, the results and the conclusions. It must correspond to the content of the Summary in English and / or Portuguese.
Keywords in Spanish: the article must contain a maximum of 5 (five) key words / phrases in Spanish, separated by a semicolon with the first letter in uppercase.
Introduction: you must present the subject clearly, making only reference to the bibliographic background of interest. The objectives and / or hypotheses must be adequately explained.
Materials and Methods: the work must fully describe the materials and methodologies used. The recognized standards should be cited but not explained. The published techniques must present in summary form their main characteristics and the corresponding references. All the modifications made to any standard or technique must be detailed.
Results and Discussion: these two sections may be included together or separately. The results will be presented in concise and easily understandable style. The discussion of the results will include the comparison with previous results (own or of other authors, with the corresponding references). Duplication of information in tables and graphs should be avoided.
Conclusions: they should be presented in short and specific paragraphs referring to the objectives and / or hypotheses raised in the work.
Acknowledgments: the organizations that financed the work may be included, as well as the collaborators and the technical or specialized personnel, specifying the tasks performed by each one. As institutional reference of the authors, the full name of the entity and the acronym will be placed in parentheses, for example, Faculty of Engineering, National University of Misiones (FI-UNaM).
References: bibliographical citations should be consigned with correlative numbers placed in square brackets, equal in size to the text. The text may include the names of the authors, but together they include the corresponding bibliographic reference number. In the corresponding item, they will be consigned according to the order in which they appear in the text. References that do not appear in the text will not be included. The references will be placed according to the style of the corresponding discipline, including, in all cases: surname and initials of the names of the authors in that order; name of the complete periodic publication or with the official abbreviations; volume; number, initial and final pages, year of publication. In the case of books: name; chapter; editorial, pages and year of edition. The web pages must have the date of consultation.
TECHNICAL NOTES
The Technical Note is the recommended format for presenting original research in the following cases: disclosure of new methods, comparison of the operation of instruments or techniques, and description of experimental results of interest to the scientific community when full investigations can not be carried out. some justified cause. They must be limited to 10 (ten) pages or 3500 (three thousand five hundred) words, with no more than 4 (four) figures and tables, and no more than 15 (fifteen) references, combining results and discussion in a single section. The rest of the format will be the same as the articles. The Technical Notes are subjected to the same rigorous process of peer review as the articles.
The works and products for the sample of prototypes and entrepreneurs will be held during two days of fair open to the public in general.
CLARIFICATIONS
1- A shipment will be considered a scientific article when it represents the result and conclusions of a research work in progress or completed.
2- A shipment will be considered a technical note when dealing with issues such as calibrations, methodological proposals, opinions on standards, resolution of operational problems, etc.
3- If the discipline dealt with in the article has published thesauri, it is suggested to use them for the definition of the key words.
4- The general criterion is that with the data of this item the experimental work can be replicated correctly.
5- In addition to those that have a signature, you can place unpublished references or press (indicating the journal in which they will be published), personal communications and web pages.
