Abstract

With the great technological advance in the civil construction it was possible to obtain concretes with high
resistances, durability, ductility and fracture energy, important points for works that need these properties, in which
context the concrete of reactive powders appears. Therefore, the aim of the present research is to verify the use of
nanosílica as a mineral addition for this concrete, and verify its influence on the mechanical properties of the nanosílica
through tests of resistance to axial compression, tensile strength in flexion, diametral compression strength and test of
modulus of elasticity. The samples were molded using the EMMA software, considering the concept of particle
packing, where they were based on the trait proposed by Richard and Cheyrezy (1995), one being the reference and the
others with addition of nanosílica in the proportions of 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% respectively, and both traces contain steel
fiber of 7.5 mm in diameter. Both traces presented high values for the tests performed, highlighting the tensile strength
in the flexion.
