TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS OF EUROPEAN AND ASIAN ARMED FORCES REPORTED ON THEIR OFFICIAL WEBSITES

Abstract

Technological innovations are a novelty in the way of supplying the current needs of
society, in all its areas; the military forces are constantly changing and updating due to the
challenges in their fundamental mission to protect and preserve national independence, security
and stability. The objective of this study is to identify the technological innovations that have been
developed in European and Asian countries in recent years; by reviewing the news presented on
the websites of each of the nations. This information is analyzed statistically to identify trends in
these specialized advances. Concluding, that the countries studied are inclined towards innovations
belonging to the categories of vehicles, defense and weapons; In addition, countries such as Russia, Belgium, the People's Republic of China and Japan are pioneers in the development of new
technologies for the benefit of the world's armies, so in addition to building their own
modifications, they are exporters of technology for other states.
