Abstract

By means of the design and study carried out on a hydrogen fuel cell, it was possible to
compare its operation with and without Nafion 117 membrane, under different operating
conditions, which allowed to analyze the progress of the reaction with the time of the Conversion
Degree, the Electric Performance, specific productivity, and Specific Energy Consumption. The
parameters obtained from these comparisons are used to evaluate the preliminary operation and its
potential industrial applications, as a friendly energy alternative with the environment. On the other
hand, the economic evaluation of the equipment is carried out and compared with other similar
equipment
